Trip to the Alps

Don't have any pictures but needless to say (wait for the jinx) the TDV8 was beautiful all the way down to Samoens in the Grand Massif region (SE of Geneve)

About 800 miles in total, the Range Rover draws looks from everyone, NO other 4WD gets the same street cred and admiration.

My sister in law has a few properties in Samoens and we've been a few times both in winter and summer,love it to bits,did you go in Philips bar with the wonky decorations? Banished back to RRS for the moment !!!

The snow was so poor in areas I managed to get the car onto the side of the piste where last year there was a metre of snow.

Just got back from an Alps trip myself - as you say no other car would make that trip easier or more enjoyable! Awesome! Thumbs Up

Nearly 1600 miles for us as we stopped off with some friends in the dordogne on the way back.

No snow !?! - You had more than us!! We had literally NONE below 1800m! Sun was nice though!! Exclamation -----------------------------------------------

Our friends have just gone to the same town we were in, the snow is almost gone, really bad and its closing at the end of the week. Discovery 4 HSE
