Portugal 2002 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zambezi Silver
2 questions

Hi all,

1st. - Sometimes the light from the transfer box (TT mode) blinks while in movement. I stop, engage N press the button but the light don't goes off and nothing happens (engage) with the trahsfer box. Then I switch the ignition off, start again and the light disapear and if I press the button it works normaly.

2nd - what kind of colling liquid is the best for the TD6?

Cheers

England 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

1st sounds like a failing transfer box motor, do a search, plenty of info.

2nd, From the owners manual.....

Coolant specification

Use ONLY a 50% mix of water and Texaco AFC Coolant. If this is unavailable, use any ethylene glycol based anti-freeze (containing no methanol) with only Silicate based non-phosphate corrosion inhibitors. In an emergency - and only if this type of anti-freeze is unavailable - top-up the cooling system with clean water, but be aware of the resultant reduction in frost protection. DO NOT top-up or refill with conventional anti-freeze formulations. If in doubt consult a Land Rover
dealer.
