Doing service myself?

Thinking of doing the range rover level service myself. But question is, will that put off future buyers as it will not have Full Range Rover service history? Thanks.

Yes

However, it depends how long you intend to keep it for and the expected mileage when you come to sell - the value of a MD history, or any history diminishes over time.

I tend to keep my cars a while & decided that I won't command enough of a premium when I come to sell to offset the cost....

Then add in the cost of a MD service history, vs Indy, vs pile of bits and oil.

As Alistair says if you intend to keep a while then it won’t make much of a difference then if you were going to Md the services at £600 a time services then that cost Can go against the reduction in value of not having a FSH too.

Also if you record what you have done and keep receipts then that should help a bit. One way would be to do a thread on here, with pics of each service and the parts. Then When you come to sell you can point someone in the forums direction and show them what has been done and when. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
