I am changing the rear bumper on my 2016 to the 2018 which has the stainless exhaust tips incorporated. Couldn't have done it without the help of Beach!! Basically about 12 parts. Bumper, 2 stainless exhaust tips, 2 brackets that secure, the 2 plastic shields the tow cover and the 1 behind that and 1 bracket securing those, the 2 additional parking sensors and housings that are on each side of the 2018. Everything else will change over. Don't know why LR waited until 2018 to change. Will send pics when done.

I did it with only the 2018 bumper, the two exhaust tips and metal wire like coat hangers. My Autobiography already had the correct number of parking sensors. I did have to cut the center plastic cover that goes over the tow hitch to make it fit but I used my old 2014 center plastic cover....

Did you have to modify the exhaust tips as they point down coming out of the boxes? The 2018 has straighter tips that bend into the stainless steel tips. Thx! Looks good! Mike

Went to install the new bumper today but found that I now need the 2018 rear sensors, as 2016 are to big, so ordered them. The 2016 harness though will fit on the 2018 sensors.

Here it is. Just waiting for rear sensors tomorrow and then done. As I mentioned, the 2016 sensors don't fit. You need the 2018's but the 2016 harness works.

Who ever said this facelifting job was easy?

Yes, and I thought the old sensors would fit, so when the Body Shop called Wed afternoon and said they were too long, RR scrambled and had them here yesterday for todays mounting. At least I now know everything about the update! I have so many different pics and parts diagrams including all necessary part numbers. There really aren't that many parts to the change over. Now I hope I can get my car today as everything here is shut down because of the Coronavirus.

Here is the 2018 rear bumper update to my 2016. Many thanks to David for his input.
He was correct in using the 2016 sensors and gluing them in. I ordered the gaskets from the 2018 sensors and put them on the 2016's as they extend a tiny bit more than the 2016 gaskets. LR parts dept had a heck of a time identifying the correct under body plastic panels and sent 2 different but finally got it sorted out. Had a muffler shop trim the 2016 exhaust tips and had then add a piece on each that pointed down into the stainless tips.
