Totally agree logic goes out the window when electric cars are debated. The eco warriors all have a spreadsheet that has many variables greyed out and eco credentials only seem to be viable if the car is produced and disposed by magic lol.
I consider myself an eco warrior. Maintain my own vehicles have 3 over 60 year olds and never throw anything away!
My works van has 200k on it, albeit 2nd engine!
What happened to the common sense approach were stuff is looked after and repaired or upcycled.
Sadly for those who will be around to witness it, but inevitably we will consume the earth like there is no tomorrow......

I went to look at an electric today , having dropped the FF off for a service.

The Ford mustang will not be available thru show rooms , only on line. No they don’t have anything I can look at... £50k ish

Won’t be buying that anytime soon... Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

He who dies with the most toys wins...

What about the Model 3?, I’ve driven a few and they’re great to drive and all the tech, my only complaint is the interior is a bit minimalist/dull for a £50k car.
