That is the initial listing price in case some sucker happens to walk into the showroom and really want that car without knowing that you can negotiate.

If it does not sell, there will be multiple reductions of the listing price, still leaving some room for haggling.

The dealer does not expect a transaction at 55k.

Looks my old one has sold quickly (2 weeks) so must have sold for near the asking price and probably made the dealer something on finance. MY23 D350 HSE

Also decided to swap the grill for a gloss back one as it simplifies the front and emphasises the silver trim line.
