I think the mpg on all the FFRR's is way out, and the only way to know what you really get is with an app which gives about 3 to 4 mpg less than the car tells you!!

Always seemed a bit odd that, so about a tenner to “fix”! https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=ht...2639684740 |

I use a fuel app. I can get just over 30mpg on a typical motorway biased business journey and just under 23mpg local journeys and office commute. |

I’ve come to my folks in Ramsgate. NW London to here 110 miles steady motorway/duel carriageway at 65/70mph with a few give it some beans moments thrown in. Trip computer showed 29 Real brim to brim equalled 27. Not too bad for a 500bhp house brick on wheels.

It’s amazing what a very lightly stressed engine can do in the right circumstances Just a shame when it all goes to pieces in stop start traffic! |

Just looked at my trip computer is my sdv8. It’s saying I get 15.1mpg on a bad run to work, and my best run is about 37mpg 20 miles on motorway. I am very light on the pedals, the trip app rating me between 96 and 98 pc efficiency. Not sure how that is calculated! |

Our trip computer seems to be very close to a fuel app which I briefly used.

Genuine consumption figures on a SDV8 - The majority is country lane and B road driving, hardly any traffic and the very, very occasional motorway trip:

Very satisfied SDV8 owner - main road, dual carriageways and a bit of motorway with some quite rather quick speeds and a balance of sections at 40/50
