Much simpler and faster just to use your iPhone, isn't it? |

Vogue, that’s what I’m thinking...I have 40gb a month on EE 4G, plus another 30 I can pinch of a work line, I was wondering if the 3G was a better connection. Then you get the trade off between signal and speed of connection, so it may work out that the 3G is better than the 4G...

Depending on your contract & where you drive..... My 3 contract won't let me use the phone as a hot spot outside the UK

Interesting. Was thinking of using it on a trip to t’Alps later in the month. Think it’s worked in the past. Will check.

This has been an issue for me as well. I tried the 3G I car WiFi, signal was probably better but speed was terrible so went back to 4g on iPhone. --

I totally agree! I find the LR system just too complicated, unreliable so don’t bother. iPhone and Bluetooth just fine for my needs |
