[Wanted] Deployable side step(s)

Am hoping someone may have a set of steps (or even just the drivers step) hanging around that they want to get rid of? The motor on my drivers step is toast and am figuring it will be easier to swap the entire step.
Thanks
James

Car is an MY11 but my understanding is the steps are all the same with just the wiring and control units being different??
I've got the steps fitted now, but the motor on the drivers side one has given up so ideally just need the steps (but will buy the full kit if required)

I replaced my old steps that were "sticking". I bought a complete new kit. I believe the issue was with general muck/wear/corrosion at the pivot points providing just enough drag to trigger the reverse if obstacle detected function. I still have the old steps. They aren't pretty, but they are complete and the motors certainly were working when I took them off. I bundled them all up in bubble when someone on here thought they might want them, but that fell through. You are welcome if you want them....but you'll have to come and get them (South Somerset) or pay for transport and they are huge and very heavy. I don't really want to break them down myself and be left to store loads of bits. Mike - MPx

Hi Mike, If JWL doesn't want these then I'd gladly collect them from you and pay for them or make a forum donation.

I've got a 405 but I think they fit all cars??

Thanks
Simon

If it helps James the package looks like this:

Its just under 2m long and about 50cmx30cm at its widest points. Its heavy, but I've no way of measuring how heavy and it probably feels heavier than it is because its so awkward to get old of. Maybe 40-50Kg?? Mike - MPx
