Parking sensors not working

They have always worked on my 2010 tdv8 but just stopped working plugged iid tool in and fault will not clear went into live data all working where should I start looking when put car into reverse I get a load bleep and the the flashing p sensor light I’m thinking it a water thing as it’s been really wet recently
