wrong mp3 id and no album covers

For the life of me I cannot understand why some mp3's from the USB drive are not displayed correctly and have no album cover. I tried re-tagging them with mp3tag, copy the cover jpg in the folder, etc. Some work, some don't. As the car has no CarPlay, this is quite annoying...

You may have already checked all these but things I would check (comparing one that works with one that doesn't):

- Is the album art embedded in each track (mp3tag can do this)?
- Is the album art the same size in pixels (there may be a max size)?
- Is the album art too big (in bytes)?
- Is it really jpg format (and not some other format renamed as jpg)?
- Check what flavour mp3 tag they are using (ID3v1, ID3v2 etc) 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

Thank you very much for the suggestions! I will compare and be back with results. Another thing: every damn time I choose the USB stick as source (after changing to radio, for instance), or remove the stick to add music, the same song starts! It was OK the first 100 times, but now it's annoying, I think I will delete that song, but I'm afraid another one will take its place... Why!?
