| Bizarre increase in demanded dpf regen numbers | |
Situation: had the dpf professionally cleaned 2 weeks ago after having a red dpf light come on. Car has run 100% since including a long (4 hr total) motorway run and has successfully regenned.
Popped into town yesterday and thought I’d put the IID tool in to monitor things. This was the status at set off: (note the number of demanded regens, 2800 or so)

Then noticed the regen number revving up at over 10-20 PER SECOND!!😳😱 it’s gone up 1100 inside 10 mins!

Anyone any ideas what’s occurring? IID fault? Engine ECU or software fault? Am completely baffled. 🤨
