Seat Base Swap?

My FFRR has the usual front drivers seat squab/base split above the seat valance (and wear to lesser degree on passenger front seat also in same location)

Cost to get professionally fixed is laughable, £420 + week without the seat is the best quote I've found...!

So I'm thinking...

Has anyone tried swapping the seat bases across so that the worn part on both seats is then next to the centre console and the door side edges then become the unworn areas (ie that originally were next to the centre console)? "Gloria" 2002 L322 Voguish V8 LPG - carcass

You can swap them left to right.
Have a search.
. Cheers, Greg

Can't believe I have never thought of this! I used a MastaPlasta patch on my drivers seat side. It is fine, as a patch, but I'd rather swap them over.

Have you got a link for them Darren?

Here's a handy link for the base swap procedure - https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/post395993.html#395993

Seems these seats can be made to fit a Disco 1 as well, happy days! "Gloria" 2002 L322 Voguish V8 LPG - carcass
