Sort of related, are they easy to get off? was thinking about removing mine. Any photos of what it looks like now?

Easy enough to get off, I used a trim removal tool.

Interested, I have a bit of double sided tape, I guess you don't need anything special. My fronts are a bit tarnished looking in places (apparently a standard problem), I am assuming yours are OK. Do these need a template or can I just pencil round the old letters as I remove them and stick the new ones on?

Hi Geoff,

I have templates for the front and back which I'll include with the letters. To be honest, I didn't use them.

I just levered the existing ones off one at a time with a plastic trim removal tool, cleaned the offending area with a squirt of glasses cleaner (any isoprop spray would do, I'd have thought), a damp then a dry cloth and used the residual 'shadowing' to locate the replacement.
