On the French Government website- Schools, colleges and universities closed. Currently no closure of borders but that is under continuous review.

Hard to know what to do for the best - I think I'll stay in Andorra for the next week - I daren't go to Toulouse airport on Monday as I can't be sure I'll get back to pick up the rest of the family. Current plan is then to go to Bordeaux, but may just head for the tunnel.....

Moving back & forth is likely to be an issue as I'll be at the whim of 2 different governments who are in no way coordinated so leaving my car at an airport is an increasing risk.

In the last week I've been skiing in Andorra -back to the UK via Toulouse and returned again. Of the whole week, it was a train into London on Monday, standing room only, that was the only thing that felt like a risk. God only knows what tube travel is like.....

I bought a pack of 72 bog rolls yesterday and my whisky cupboard is well stocked, so maybe it's just time to self isolate Very Happy
(its a single pack of 72 so doesn't count as panic buying / stockpiling Whistle )

My trip up from Portes de Soleil to Calais yesterday was unbelievably quiet. Very little traffic on the autoroute

Well as it stands she's due to fly home to Gatwick on Wednesday as that's the earliest they can get flights for all the staff!

The current guests left on a today (a week early!) What a bloody great mess! And that's just one small area!

Glad shes back safe and sound.

It’s all gone a bit tits up, but I’m sure that at some point normal service will be resumed. It’s just we don’t know when that is!! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Similar to the airlines really- if the (air)ports are open, then it's a commercial decision for the operators - there are still plenty of people heading home, wherever home is....

If they cancelled everything and left people stranded, there would likely be more of an uproar.

It's not really their fault that you bought the cheapest non-refundable ticket, or may not have the right travel insurance.... so if they are running a service & you chose not to travel, then claim from your insurance. If they cancel, then you should get a refund.

Seems unfortunate on the insurance - if they cancel you should get a refund anyway.....

Yes they were good when she wrecked her wrist/arm...

Best home now... Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

He who dies with the most toys wins...
