HVAC Fan not running

Yes sorry about this.....

I'd not really noticed but my heating ventilation fan hasn't been working properly for a while now. The car always took too long to demist but I'm sure there was some air flow. Yesterday I was sat at Luton Airport waitng for the guv and was cold, then it dawned on me there was no air flow ! Nice hot engine and no air, once back on the motorwaty things improved with a bit of forced airflow.

I've had a look on previous posts and in Wiki, plenty of info on a not uncommon which is excellent ! My question is for those who've got the grazed knuckles and full swear jar, where to start first ? Of the "Common" issues which is the most common ???

Thanks :¬)

The motor is mos probably stuck. Had that on my 2006 Td6. Was able to lubricate it with WD40 with the the help of about 2 ft long small dia brass tube as an extension.

1 year on.....
Same problem here.

Garth. Which motor do you mean?
I have no air flow out the front, but plenty into the rear cabin so my blower motor works fine.
Is there some other motor you mean?

Its a separate blower for the rear. I'd say your main blower has failed. Mine did a few months ago.
Its a bit of a pig to replace... there are some YouTube vids about it.
Some folk end up cutting some plastic away under the dash top to get to it, I opted to get someone to take the dash out to get to it!

Hardwoods replaced the HVAC unit last time it’s fan kept stopping. Quick reset of HVAC and it was good again till it next stopped. After 18 months, the replacement HVAC unit is dying again .....occasionally the fan works, but mostly not.

I was not aware the L322s had 2 separate blowers, one for front cabin and one for rear.
