so in theory you shouldnt have a problem Thumbs Up

Unless I wear it out!

I remember on another forum discussing the failure of the deadbolt locks (superlocking) on the P38.... everyone came to the conclusion that you shouldnt superlock the car because it would wear the lock motors out and they might fail after a few years! Confused It's there to be used - just not abused!

Australia 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Rimini Red

Mine's had the usual small niggles i.e.; parking sensors sulking for a day and the rear wash jet declaring independence, the only real problem is my rear brake callipers seizing within six weeks of each other and I'll never know if that is just bad luck the fact that I drive off road and tow heavy trailers or poor quality, but what I have learnt is that the stealers are a bit , well lets just say they should not be allowed sharp objects Rolling with laughter 2008 MY Supercharged

Well do not want to tempt fate here , but for the last 2 years i have not had any major problems apart from the common suspension fault.

The first year it was in and out of the Stealers about a dozen times for allsorts of stupid faults mainly re-programming issue's .

Other than that Nowt so far .

JUST PUT THE KISS OF DEATH ON IT NOW ............. Whistle Whistle Whistle

Scotland 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 V8 Fuji White

Since buying mine 2 years ago, I've had....

Lower suspension arm replaced
Diff replaced ( recall)
Air Suspension ECU replaced
Passenger cup holder replaced ( spring broke..a common fault..I'm told)
Centre Console cup holder replaced (spring again !!!)

And today it was towed away as the font n/s track rod end ball joint has gone and the Airbag SRS light is on!!

Now I've had Landrover for the last 12 years and this is the most unreliable vehicle yet. Maybe I got a bad one and its beginning to drive me mad, but I still love the car.

Thankfully the AA warranty I took out had covered most of these faults. 2011 Range Rover TDV8 4.4 Vogue SE

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Corris Grey

Bought mine at 14 months old. Day after purchase had DVD player replaced as would not communicate with head unit (garage thought it would be a faulty fibre cable at first).
Also had front passanger seatbelt + unit replaced simply because the small plastic stop (prevents buckle dropping too far down belt when not worn) had been broken off at some stage, a couple of pence item, which I thought would just involve them pinning a new one on. However, the part is not available individually!! Seems ridiculous to scrap a whole seatbelt. ( Under warranty of course anyway ). I've also got the occassional steering column powering to my knees syndrome which only ever occurs just after I have memorised a new seat position etc. Garage aware of it though. Even with these few problems, it's still the car that's lived up to my expectations ever since I bought it and it really does have a 'feel good' factor when you get into it. Brilliant! Steve
