IID Tool Help

HI guys New L322 owner here, Just acuired a 58 plate Vogue but badged autobiography ?, It has the rear screens fitted along with the DVD in the boot. But i am missing the remote for the screens. But when i go in to the front screen there is no dvd option, have run the seld test from the supervisor mode in the front screen, But this is telling me

RSEDVDAudio, - RSEDVDAudio Incapable
RSEDVEPlayer, - RSEDVDPlayer Not Fitted
RSEInterfscrModual, - RSEInterfaceModual Not Fitted

Then on the video self test screens i get

B100E25 TV/RSE Video Input Failure
B101025 Rear Video Input Failure

Ive been told it it looks like they have been disables in thr CCF files as there has been a PlayStation 2 fitted in the Boot also But again with out the ability to turn on the rear screens i cant test this either.

The cheeky part of this post is. Is here any one in or near Birmingham with an IID tool who would look to see id the RSE need to be turned n via the CCF files.

Thanks For Reading

Regards

Mike

They look like 753 screens, Stan.

@Miky275, You can't access the CCF with the Gap tool unless it is registered to the VIN. You can read for and clear faults though which might help you. John

After a bit of Google surfing it is very likley to be after market, As ive seen a few posts from Bmw forums that have these units, But then on a Range Rover Sport fourm a guy has them in his, So now the hunt begins to find the remote for the dvd unit and the remote for the screens, as i can get both the PS2 and the dvd changer to power up in the boot but no way of turning the screens on, Hence wy i was hopping they could have been enabled via a CCF file then could have turned them on from the front.

Regards

Mike

Dumb question. Have you looked for the remote in its storage location inside the rear centre armrest? Previously a 2008MY Tonga Green Vogue SE 3.6 TDV8

HI yes i did check the rear center console. After stan's advice i can confirm it is after market, ive manage to get a remote for the screens. so just serching out remote for the actual dvd changer now. Im hoping a universal remote will do the trick

Mike
