there will be one happy member

well there will be one happy member on here, Contraband he has had probs with his venture cam and after confirming the voltage found out that his cameras were not working, well i offered to fix them, some times what happens is when they get so flat the cells can swap polarity and need to be jumped back to the right way, any way he will be happy to know i have managed to get both of them working..now i will charge and discharge them a dozen times and they will be fit to go.... and he was talking about breaking them open..

What can I say.... That's fantastic. Thank you very much.
I'll bet there are hundreds out there that would benefit from your touch!
You should advertise a repair service on eBay!
I'm looking forward to having a play with them.. Previously..

as i said i will charge and discharge them for while then charge them and send them back, if you cradle is ok then they should charge as normal just dont forget to swap them around to save it happening again. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

So if my cam didn't appear to be charging (like it isn't just now), could I reverse the polarity of the cam cradle in the glove box and do this>(Assuming the connectors are accessible?)

This post just came at the right time, as I was considering ripping the cam apart to see what the battery state was! Bow down Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

no,no,....do not play around with the cradle, you could do big damage to the cars electrics,, i have a big bench supply unit that will give me from 1v up to 30v,now you need 12v plus to reverse a cell if its 12v, note you must be care full as if the cell have charging monitoring electric you can kill the hole thing like laptop batts, i have used this method for a number of years on any thing from model car battery's up to cordless drills, they can all suffer from cell memory. any way thats what i do but if you fry some thing trying dont blame me...
WARNING IF YOU PUT TO MUCH POWER THROUGH A CELL IT CAN EXPLODE.... V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

hi Contraband, they are on there way back to you all charged up and working, let me know how they go... you can register them both, i think you can register up to eight cams on one system.
