Is there a difference with P525 vs 5.0 525bhp on JLR site?

Is it a different model or just some naming stuff????

Kinda need to know before I pull the trigger on a deal.....if I can make it work..... all smug in my new plug!

P525 badging signifies 2020 model year. Minor changes vs 2019, for example, the deletion of the [gimmicky] gesture sun blind. Without knowing the vehicle/s in question it’s hard to comment on other differences, but they are minor as I say. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

the LR site and autotrader are calling them different things so when you search they are . suggesting they are different cars but same bhp.

Called about this P525 on AT at 106k which was 12k discount if I took JLR Finance but 3 days later and no return call.......considering it was the sales mgr who took my info, doesn't say much for these guys....

I'll see what turns up this week.....still no car so cant do much until its back in my hands..... all smug in my new plug!

You could achieve a similar price on a factory order, if you have time and want the perfect spec.

On the car you link to, according to the description it has “smart phone pack”, something that is not mentioned on MY2020 because it’s standard. So coupled with the absence of a P525 badge on rear, it might be a MY2019 and so definitely worth less than £106k in my opinion despite it being unregistered. Try to get your hands on the VIN and all will be revealed. I’d haggle hard on it (if they ever return your phone call!!). A negotiation technique could be to get a quote from Autoebid on a new one MY2020, showing you can get at least 8% off list. Also mention the launch of the Westminster signifying the L405 is into its last year or so. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
