My car has just downloaded the latest Software using SOTA.

Does anyone know what that update included or can I find out on Topix without paying a large fee? All LR cars from 1984

Bluetooth®

Improved connection of Bluetooth® devices.

The air ioniser icon has changed to a different design.

Issues fixed in this release

Phone

Audio will no longer be lost during a call.

Improved connectivity to devices using USB.

Bluetooth® phone will no longer unexpectedly unpair during a call.

InControl Apps

iPhones will now connect correctly when using InControl Apps.

Speech

When requesting a track list from an iOS device using speech the track list will now display all the tracks every time.
When American English is selected for speech guidance it will now be American not British English.
General improvements for Speech recognition and usability.

Bluetooth®

The music will no longer unexpectedly stop when playing an iOS device over Bluetooth®.

It would be nice to know, perhaps by email from JLR, that when a SOTA update is introduced, exactly what it is updating and what we, the owners, should look out for / notice.

Found out on twitter that the update was available, the car didn’t show anything.
Had to call the dealer, he enabled it in his software and then it appeared. It took about 30 minutes for the 31MB. No visible changes, however, the throttle seems lazier now (in EV mode) and the reverse camera often remains on and has to be closed manually…

Also, although selected in the menu, the lower startup screen defaults to car settings and not media now…
