I’ve thought it’d be nice to have that kind of rear seat space and luxury from time to time. However, the thought of it never fitting into a standard car parking space ever again, getting it through some of the tight lane turns I often have to do and making it easier to ground out (especially with the suspension lowered is multi-storey car parks) usually bring me back to reality.

PS: 4.4 SDV8 for sure. You’ll struggle to find many 3.0 hybrids, even without being wanting it to be LWB |

I had a 19MY LWB 4.4AB as a loaner for 3 or 4 weeks and never really found a problem with car parking spaces, well no more than my current 17MY SWB model. I can honestly say I didn't give it a thought. It never grounded out and I did "play" with it. The bit that I found to be it's achilles was the boot space. The seats in the loaner had the electric extending armrest as opposed to the fixed seating but the fold on them was dreadful. That was the biggest disappointment for me. Beautiful huge car with an itty bitty boot. |

If your after exec seating and hybrid and lwb, then look a bit older around my14/15 as there are some ex land rover fleet early hybrids around and they will be the 3.0sdv6 and some have the exec seating and some are lwb. wont be the latest plug in hybrid but as an ex JLR car it will be fully sorted and don't tend to have high mileage, they are pretty rare so if you find one worth a look if thats what youre after. I have the Exec seating in both of mine and they are fixed so they can recline and wouldn't change for the standard seating.

Is there a point to the Exec seating if you're not a chauffeur?
