I’m going to look at a FF up for sale at a private dealer tomorrow and checking out it’s MOT history had an advisory in 2018 for ‘suspension pipes at front of engine damp and suspension fluid on minimum’

I’ve had many Land Rovers over the years on air suspension but it’s been a while since I’ve maintained them myself so I’m not sure exactly what this means as I don’t remember fluid being involved before

It had a clean bill of health at it’s most recent mot so was either sorted or missed by that tester.

Could it be the steering system pipes and resevoir?

Long shot, see if you can get the previoius test station details and contact them. They may remember. Cheers

I suspect it something unrelated to the suspension. I know your average mot tester doesn’t see a vehicle with air suspension on a daily basis but you think they could tell where it’s roughly coming from!!

I’ll scrutinise the history and go from there.

I'd worry about the quality of the MOT if the tester thought there was a reservoir for "suspension fluid" for the "suspension fluid on minimum’ on any RR.
That's way beyond not being able to find the correct phrase in the MOT software. Paul,

And surely the dynanmic suspension resevoir is an air receiver under one of the the cills on the car. Cheers

Air tank is just the standard air suspension on all vehicles, some with dynamic response will also have a fluid reservoir like this: https://www.ownerinfo.landrover.com/docume...c/G1797388

Ah, good point . I admit I was referring to the WM for the L322 which calls it Vehicle Dynamic Air Suspension.

Just realised I’ve posted in the wrong section, it’s an L405 I’m looking at tomorrow. Although I’m guessing that won’t make a lot of difference as far as the air suspension is concerned?
