Well , as my previous post showing some of the corrosion under my TD6 I have added the welders Facebook page . He has put a lot of before and after photos of the work being done and to say it is fantastic is an understatement ! A really nice guy with all the tools and knowledge to do a proper job , as can be seen in his photos. He is located in Beverley East Yorkshire which maybe a bit far for some but I can highly recommend him

Thanks Merc, so are we saying roughly £2K for both sides without paint? |

Yes Rosco , @£2k for both sides without paint. As to the quality of his work i'm glad I took it to him. Hopefully the price for early L322's will gradually start to go up as a lot disappear of the roads . Its amazing that all the cars on Ebay where they show photos of the lower rear arch all have the same small blemishes that mine had but its only when you look underneath you can see the corrosion. To be fair how many owners are just daily drivers and never inspect their car underneath or even waxoyl it until its too late and then its off to the breakers or Ebay ! All x4 jacking points on mine were just about gone , but I never used them for jacking the car and as they were hidden didn't give them a second thought ! |
