Got some new side grills from the father in law, had to go and fit them. But then they really showed how much the car needed a clean, so have it a wash, then got guilt tripped into cleaning the missus car too :/

Failed alternator, dash lit up like a xmas tree and reduced performance. No recovery truck for 6 hours as I wasn't a high priority and they were busy with more urgent calls!! To top the day off the recovery driver had the cheek to wish me a Merry Christmas when he finally dropped us off at home. Merry Christmas Bah Humbug |

I got a Noco Boost Pro GB150, a jump starter for up to 10l petrol or diesel. Looks like a good toy, but the instructions say it is only for lead acid batteries and not for any other other type of battery chemistry.
