I know this subject is not new but a search won't bring me latest info. I had a flat today got a Jack from SGS and changed the wheel BUT the tyre was shot, literally falling to pieces, so I need another I was thinking might as well get 4. But the best price I could find for 4x 275/40/22 was just over a thousand quid. I don't want to press the button and find I could have paid less so if anyone has been trawling the web recently and seen a better price (Conti LX Sport) anyone got a better (read cheaper source or option). Geoff, are 285 40 22 much difference in price? I think JLR have moved everything to that size now so, as supply & demand usually dictates price! The larger size maybe cheaper? |

Pirelli Scorpion Verde 285 45 22 seem a good price but will 45 fit with no problems? Geoff |

I wouldn’t think so Geoff as they would be a further 14.25mm in the sidewall chap... they might look WAY TOO BIG too! |
