Bike Rack v Trailer

I've got a 2013 L405 and when I attach my bike rack to the towball (deployable) it assumes I have connected a trailer and asks me questions about how many axles it has. Well a bike rack doesn't have any so when I say NO to the trailer question it just disables the warnings in the mirrors. Is there any way round this? Geoff

Can't you just lie to it & say 1 or 2 - what difference does it make I wonder ?
