Hi all

Still trying to cure a rough idle everything else is now good except high fuel trims at idle along with roughness it disappears when driving.

Anyway couple of months ago I did a smoke test and it looked like bank 1 consortina to the elbow was leaking so bought a new pair from lr and changed

Didn’t have access to smoke tester for a month or two still idled rough then had another go and it looked like it was leaking again I swore about the pos it was and made a big mess with red silicone to stop the leak (you can see in vid)

Anyway today I did it again and it still appeared to leak there so I took the inlet pipe off this time and a few other bits and pieces and it looks like it’s actually coming lower down than I can obviously see on bank one. Seems a lot of smoke too.

This may also play into the slight whistle I have when driving as I thought it was the screen but screen was changed and still does it (and it’s definitely more noises this side)

Anyway if you don’t mind watching the video and thinking where the hell that could be leaking - is there a common place or anything?

Ok looking at this more it looks like it may be leaking from the intercooler gasket on that side.

Does anyone know if I can just remove the elbow, remover the intercooler bolts and lift it high enough to pull the old gasket and let the new one? Would save me messing with the coolant hoses and taking out the full s/c any help would be great.. Current stable:
