this is really the only thing on the car that needs a proper clean - again ivory colour

does anyone know what 'material' is used to cover the shelf?

initial thoughts would be to use my Vax cleaner/washer with mild solution of APC or proprietary fabric cleaner

i don't use mine - its a pain in the arse, why oh why not have a simple roller cover/blind that works?

if i get no answers i'll use mine as the 'test' subject and have a go with the Vax and wet clean!

"My cream parcel shelf was a real mess, have complained to RR about the difficulty of cleaning seeing its not a smooth surface, my vehicle really gets used!! Finally cracked it by using autoglym fabric hood cleaner left it on for 20mins or so giving it the odd scrub with a nail brush on the really bad patches and finally used one of those hand held steam generators (as seen on TV) cant find any other use for it but really cleaned the shelf up as new!! Good luck "

so Megs APC will do the same job imo

would be a bit cautious about steam cleaning as the heat may break down the adhesive that sticks the fabric to the substrate?

Nice one Mick, I think I have some fabric hood cleaner in the garage from years back when I had a 306 Cabriolet.
