Hey guys,

i need some clarification on my wiper parts and weather the angle is adjustable or not..

i read this thread https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic4867....p;start=15 and in the pictures it shows a plate underneath the wiper arm which is how you adjust the angle of the wiper arm and blade.

i removed my wiper arm and there is no such thing.. my arm bolts down straight onto the spline with a nut with a in built washer,

I also got a parts drawing from my local dealer and it shows a shim wich looks like the one in the thread but it is shown above the wiper arm???

Ok so i think i have sussed it and maybe it will help others or not lol

any wiper arm up to 09 was sandwhiched between 2 shims.. 1 top and bottom. these shims had horizontal serrated lines so that the arm itself could go to adjustable angles. The new wiper arms have these shims cast in so are of a fixed angle lol

now to figure out why my passengr side is noisy lol.. Interstingly i have noticed any speed over 40 ish and they are silent im guessing the air is pushing the blade or arm.. Maybe at some point in its life the passenger arm has been knocked or bent slightly.. Regards
