LV Insurance

So, I have a delivery/collection date (30th Oct) for my 2020 FF SVA together with the Vin number and a "kind of private plate/reg number" that the dealer has had for some weeks so I thought I should ensure the car was fully insured for pick up as the 7 day drive away insurance from LR wont cover it!

As I am 57 and have 2 separate lots of NCD (9 years plus on both) having insured 2 cars for years I thought I would try the Meerkat site first.

Entered all of my details including the fact that I wanted fully comp, driving for work to visit clients, her in doors on the policy and protected NCD and LV came out at £417 inc Legal Protection - that's some £40 cheaper than my 66 plate D4 and less then the 18 plate M4 Convertible I used to insure until May of this year when I sold it Thumbs Up

It was also some £500 cheaper than the next quote down so on the phone I got - gave them the details/quote reference number and they said the car needed a tracker - well she has one in the Tracker Pro system which I explained to LV and they were happy to proceed, but possibly not as happy as me Surprised

Paid via CC there and then with a start date of the 30th and a very happy fully insured soon to be SVA driver Very Happy "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

I’m with LV and they seem a decent enough company.
