Charles I bought the Devon UBP kit - only the front fits (sump) - the rear two plates fit the RRS; to their great credit they refunded me the amount in full (it had been freighted to Oz)

I'd be very grateful if you would be kind enough to post some photos of the sump plate fitted to your FFRR. Thumbs Up

Certainly will, they have not been fabricated yet. I've taken all the standard ones off and I am having replicas made. Our standard ones are 3.75mm aluminium. I am changing all of them to 5mm steel. Including the gearbox sump, diffs and engine sump and approach guard etc.

Great thanks for the pictures. Are they steel plate? And would you say they were 5mm?

Any updates as to where to buy underbody protection?

Annoyingly I didn't buy the Rival plate from Devon 4X4, as I didn't really need it back then and now they don't appear to stock them.

I made my own from 4mm aluminium plate. Particularly wanted to protect the transfer case that has lines, hoses and cables very exposed.

I’m full of admiration, I’d love to be able to do that.

Sadly, when it comes to such matters I’m lacking the three T’s (time, tools and talent).
