I have got a pair of Thule roof bars for my L322 that fit in the door openings and then pull down on suction feet.

I queried with Thule why there were no roof bars for my vehicle. Their reply is below

I had this exact same problem with my 405. I spent a load of cash on the OEM roof rails to then fit cross bars.

Seems reasonable that you could design & fabricate something to use the mountings for the rails.

Also, if you're doing a full build, then be sure to post up a dedicated thread like the one Haylands did for his |

For my L322 I made up some roof bars out of galvanised unistrut on purpose made mounting blocks that screw into the roof fixings without having to break off the fixing cover flaps.

Charles89 - I've got the factory roof rails and have successfully fitted Thule crossbars and a Rhino Rack platform/basket...overall, a very low profile setup.

The official rating is usually limited by what you could happily do a slalom course with - and is governed by vehicle dynamics as much as anything else.

What Alistair said. LR say the max load for the SWB roof rails is about 100kg, but that seems low to me. 2021 P525 | Eiger Gray |

Wondering if anyone has considered the EZ-Awn Roof Rack Rail set. https://www.equipt1.com/collections/roof-r...-rack-rail
