Isn’t the fattie getting a makeover at around the same time, that will make the choice between the sparkling fully new defender somewhat harder!

I understood the whole new range from RR will come with options of electric, phev, petrol , diesel
The electric with a plus 300 mile range on the fattie. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Does this mean that Land Rover going to target the new Defender at their usual market after all then?

I'm wondering if the RRS isn't going to be a more serious competitor to this than the Mercedes?
