Air suspension maintenance

Hi folks

My air suspension seems to be getting a bit slow to lift, in fact yesterday it wouldn't indicate having lifted to the higher position / setting. It lowers fine but a bit lame on the rise. So before I go blaming it or getting into failure scenarios I thought I'd ask, is there any maintenance that needs attending to first ? filters or joints ?
