Do you have the workshop manual, it is online i'm sure. It should give you all the details on the glove box. I remember pulling mine apart but that is very very long ago. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

You need a new glove box switch. Around £90. Easy to pull out and push new one in.

As above new switch mine just stopped bought a new one from Dan on here and popped it in hey presto |

The bottom half of my glovebox wouldn’t open. Replaced the switch twice and it burnt out twice
