How to code rear lights on with DRLs

I have tried looking in the options in the IID tool and cant find an option for the L405 to code in different regions into the lights.

On the L322 you could choose Scandinavian etc. And this would put your DRL on full bright with the rear side lights at the same time.

I have a 2019 conversion, but the 2019 L405 has DRLs with Rear side lights and I want to achieve the same look

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

You can't Charles... You would need to hard wire them!

Who converted your car sir?

I converted it myself Craig.

Just used a pin removal tool and switched the pins round to match the pre facelift

Rear I did over the last two days. And it required some fettling as I have the electric tow bar and the parts were from a 2019 with no tow bar.

Front I intend to do once I have clarity on the fitment of the matrix lights.

you could ask Pat @ GAP to let you have the full un-tested beta list for your tool....it might have the correct setting in there.. ... - .- -.

Ah excellent!

How would I contact Pat?

Also, when I had the L322 the IID tool seemed to have had a far more comprehensive list of items you could play with. The L405 does not. And I would go as far as to say other than the ride hight adjustment options the IID tool may as well be an expensive paper weight for the L405

I already have it Stan and you cannot, hence my earlier post Thumbs Up

The Bus changes dramatically on 15MY then 16MY cars and the LCM & BCM are entirely different hence it NOT being possible sir Bow down Thumbs Up

You can however simply feed the lamp with an ignition live and solder in a one way resistor so the rest of the car does not get the feed... Oh and another in the feed wire so as not to back feed when the side lights illuminate Thumbs Up

Be a little careful changing/messing with unsupported "stuff" with the IID on the 405 as they can cause you HUGE problems... Ask me (& Pat) how i/we know... Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed
