Go to some of the London dealers. They really know how to charge for labour. £180 + VAT per hour is not unheard of. 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged

Not sure, but Audi rates cannot be that high. My A3 was on the extended service regime, so only serviced every two years, some years the cost was about £170 all in; vat, oil, filters etc. 2010 Range Rover TDV8 Baltic Blue Autobiography (2011 MY) - SOLD 1960 Land Rover SII SWB SW 2020 BMW R1250 RT LE 2021 Triton ST-125 (Monkey Bike) |

Shocking isn’t it, as soon as my vehicles are out of warranty they go to specialists, with a saving of a third or more. Worth some research. When it comes to sell it doesn’t put anybody off. My merc clk is the youngest car they look after, one day picked up the car and it was flanked by 2 gull wings. Holland and Holland Range Rover By Overfinch |

£150+vat is dear. my conclusion is that they are trying to earn as much as plumbers |

Find a good independent! We charge less than half that hourly rate for arguably a better service! Go figure |

Yes, I know re indies - was just interested to see what the going rate was. The work they quoted for is now (after the obligatory argument) being done under warranty |
