Does anyone know the oil level capacity on the 3.0L L405 engine ?

6 litres for an oil and filter change.

On my 4.4L they squeezed in 9.8 L @ £14.95 a litre... that seems to be heavy handed. Your post made me look.

do you have a 4.4 Bill?

Is that a cabin air filter element they have charged you for ?
Did they change the oil filter ? (They are about £15 ?)

Mike ... I was looking at just one part of the bill. They charged me 555.00 for the service, 48,000 but that includes the oil, they just charge themselves that amount for oil & bits ... (I guess!!!)

Bill Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc
