United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Aleutian Silver
Service and issues

Morning,
4 months into an approved used FFRR and it’s due a service, there’s a fair few issues I’ve been unable to resolve despite some excellent advice from this board.

Car keeps saying battery low please start engine, climate seats not cooling, mind of its own suspension with it positioning to off road mode on stopping engine, squeaking tailgate slow to open when it’s chilly and forward alert intermittent with AEB just not working at all.

Thank fully I have the Approved warranty.

Any suggestions on how to deal with a local dealer as I bought the car from one down south, and as the car has only done 18k I’m unsure of the service it requires and the likely price.

Really appreciate any replies on the above.

Have you changed both batteries ?

Sounds like most could be related to a dodgy battery

it'll be a 4 year major service Stuart, i dont think the low mileage comes into it ...LR do a fixed service rate for over 3 year vehicles which is cheaper than the scheduled service rates.

as for the problems you have , make a written list of whats wrong and if possible maybe a video and stick that on a usb so they can see whats happening.. ... - .- -.

I haven’t changed anything yet, was going to see what the dealer had to say before I started changing out parts.

2 batteries? Can you explain and tell me how much they’ll set me back?

Thanks, appreciate the informed reply.

I missed the service bit - if it's going in then as Stan says, a list of issues & ask them may well be the way forward.

The car has 2 batteries - one is below the spare wheel in the boot, that's the main one. There is another in the side panel of the boot -

Hi Stan..
where can I find details of the fixed rate?

Bill Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Really appreciate the replies, can anybody recommend a suitable battery and the best place to get a reasonable deal on one. I wouldn’t mind getting one that the dealer would provide just don’t want to pay the inflated prices.

Thnaks
