Has anyone tried this head unit in an 05' L322

Hi Guys

Has anyone had the guts to jump on one of these and does it work. The biggest issue i see with replacing the head unit in my L322 is that i will lose the suspension and fuel settings and the relationship between the head unit and the dash

Or can you fit a later model RR head unit, i have everything except reversing camera, GPS and Phone, can anyone help??

Cheers

Bulgaria 2003 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Bonatti Grey

I've just ordered a very similar one Ebay LINK but 3 times cheaper. Mine is BMW one, since I don't have 4x4 screen, I don't care. Somewhere over Internet I saw people install aftermarket stereo & keep their original one in the boot or in the glove department (replacing the CD changer) to be able to configure the clock, DSP etc.

Note that the one you've linked claims it fits 02-12 models, which is highly unlikable, there was at least 3 different electronics configurations during those 10 years and the stereos are not interchangeable.

Hey Walter,

Thanks for the information, there is so much smoke and mirrors around a lot of this gear and ive been dealing with the Chinese market for a long time for LED and switches etc as we run a luxury boat management company, you'd think this would be a simple replacement

Anyway thanks again

Rohan

Australia 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black

I can vouch for the brand, have fitted one of their units into a Focus and it was super easy and works a treat. As for the RR, I fitted a unit for an e53 X5 like most and it was worth the effort. Quite a bit of cutting of the dash, issues geting the amp to turn on but sorted in the end. Fitted the old head unit into the glovebox but honestly have not once used it. Never got the steering wheel controlls working as everytime I connected the canbus unit the screen when blank so I decided I could reach the volume knob as in the old days. 2007 TDV8 VSE
