Typically they will return tomorrow when you go out for a drive. Hopefully!

How did you figure out what it was. I've taken out the black dsp amplifier which looks a bit corroded so thought it might have been that, just about to buy another one but now you've put a bit of doubt in my mind that it might be the radio unit.

I had also suspected it was the DSP amp ,but i thought i would try the Radio unit first as this had corrosion on the contacts due to water ingress,so i tried a radio unit from a friends one & everthing came back up.I can only assume the other unit's get there power supply from the Radio unit. (The Radio unit could possible have a dry solder joint,as mine would come back to life intermittanly).Very Happy

Had a gremlin the other night. Would pause for a long time before playing CD, sometimes the volume can't be adjusted by the steering wheel and the voice control button stops working. After a shut down its all fine again.

had similar issue on the TD6 and then they just stopped happening! Discovery 4 HSE

My Dad's TD6 has just stopped working for Radio and CD.

So, looking at the above it could well be the radio unit. Which one of the boxes in the boot is it? Anyone got a pic to hand? Discovery 4 HSE

Mine's just done this, am going to pull the fuse and see if a re-set helps.

If not, it looks from the above that a new radio unit might be in order Sad

similar problem here with mine now, getting worse

at random the radio starts playing up...sound just cuts out, wait a few mins then switch on/off on the left button, comes back....for a few mins anyway

the power light stays on, just sound that dosent

then random reboots of the nav computer

Im guessing a dodgy amp, and maybe some corrosion/loose connection...a job for the weekend to take them all out I guess and check all connections

if anyone spots a L322 2004 amp for sale anywhere post up here please, as usual, none on ebay Sad cheers

Assuming pre- touch screen satnav.

Bit hard to see in this pic. This RR has 3 infotainment modules (4 if you include the nav computer):
- DSP amp (black) to the left rear of the electronics compartment in the pic
- TV module (silver) to the right rear (blue and white plugs barely visible)
- BM53 radio module to the right front of the electronics compartment - but not visible in the pic. It's also silver and has a big, square, black plug and an antenna connector

Check the fuse first, tho - not an unheard of prob.

(wife thinks I'm nuts - prob right, too)
