On my seventh FF, 1979 to date, yes they're good, but not without issue. I believe LR hit a high point with the L322, but the next L405 model kicked in with problems.

i think all new models have issues. the best advice is not to buy the first of a new model. let them find and fix the problems for you first...

i bet the first L322 had issues when it first came out.

I bought an L322 brand new in 2004. Unbelievably it had no problems at all in the fourteen years I owned it. Yes, it had a couple of years grace following introduction, however this isn't a valid excuse for the model to exhibit certain issues, and quite clearly this forum shows problems do exist way beyond the introduction post 2013. That said, we all have the choice,.

My tin isn’t perfect but it does reduce the range of the signal Geoff

for £7 for two pouches which are 100% effective why not get the real thing to protect such a high value asset? just saying...

maybe the tin is easier

i thought the pouches would be a faf but actually they're pretty easy and protect key from scratches etc.

Actually I disabled keyless - much better - it was a solution looking for a problem. It looked so hard it created one, L405s with keyless are too easy for thieves to get inside. Geoff

This is probably the most sensible solution.
