Still battling on with my android head unit ,upgraded the software yesterday and a world of difference its made ,unit isnt touchscreen due to heat damage of digitiser and works fine with a mouse ,so im not too worried about that however due to this blasted hybrid most/old set up that lives in my car i have been wiring yellow and red from the unit together which basically gives it permanent power i'd really like to find the colour of the switched (ignition operated) wire to tap into so if anyone could give me any pointers ive hacked most of the plugs off so please dont think i'll understand if you describe it as pin 16 in xyz plug,ive also managed to hack out most of the fibreoptic gloop as well....i detest electrics and have a passionate hatred for fibre optic due to being involved in building those offshore windmills where the stuff abounds
