Can anyone tell me what the operating pressure for the suspension compressor should be please?
When I activate a height change mine hovers around 9.6 bar if I check it after a run it is normally showing 11-12 bar.
Just lately it seems a bit sluggish to rise to the off road position or to return to normal from access height.

I cant help with the pressure I'm afraid, but I ended up replacing my compressor at about 118k miles, on a 2003 TD6. I tried the rebuild kit but it didnt help, so bought new internals and fitted those to the original black turtle shell

My compressor does get a fair bit of use, as we lower it to access height everytime we park up, so for the last 9 years its raised and lowered every time its used.

Yes mine is the same used a lot as the wife is short and not very mobile now we are older. I can monitor the pressure and it’s in the green band but I need to know what it should be reading and can’t for the life of me find it any where.

From the Workshop manual:

'The compressor is used to supply air pressure to the air suspension reservoir. The ECU monitors the pressure within
the reservoir and, when the engine is running, maintains a pressure of:
l 13.7 bar (199 lbf/in2), in systems without an external pressure relief valve
l 11.8 bar (171 lbf/in2), in systems with an external pressure relief valve'

You can easily see if you have an external relief valve, it's in the air line from the compressor and usually sits around in the front right corner of the spare wheel well.
