You may have seen I did the retrofit of the above. I've now upgraded to a supercharged of a newer year where this will no longer work so back to stock my 4.4 has gone and this is now for sale!

It has been in daily use for the last two year and once we sussed out the standard bus amp problem its been no hassle at all.

It contains the larger iDrive controller, the screen and bezel to look the part and fill the whole space where the stock screen is to just screen, the NBT unit form 2016, the Carsystems emulator to make it all run, and (not the tidiest) a replacement center console topi with a cutout for the drive controller. Plus all the wiring you need.

The emulator would cost you £400, the NBT of that age £300, the screen £200 and the controller £100 minimum used off eBay, plus I have the console and all the wiring,

This is dab version which is great if retrofitting into a vogue as the to tuner aerials work great! It also has BMW apps for Spotify deezer etc. Also running the latest 2018-2 maps

Realistically its about a days work to fit no more than the standard aftermarket stereo install but man does this feel better to use.
