Just thought I’d see if anyone interested. Various issues. 2004 4.4V8 118,000 miles.
Faults:
Gearbox issue when driving over 35m, had fluids changed recently but issue still present.
Slow coolant leak, engine bay smells of coolant. Needs topping up every few months.
Water got into rear quarter. Screen now black. Does come on occasionally along with radio. Possible short.
Battery is flat, will only start with jump back, likely a drain somewhere so unsure what issues this will have caused. . Will need a lot
Of TLC to get back running nice again. Body is in good nick with no rust on tailgate or outer arches and air suspension all working nicely. Not much service history, last serviced earlier this year.
