IId on Android headunit

I've been using my BT IID for a couple of years now on the Range and more recently the Mrs D3- great bit of kit !
After recently installing a Android Head unit (avin 4) thought it might be nice to gt the app on the head unit. Ive downloaded and have the app running but its not connecting the IID. Tried Gap and they think its a software issue or something with the Avin unit.
Just wondered if anyone else has been able to get it running on Android OK ? No7 - 2003 V8 Vogue

There's a useful summary of the IID Android requirements in this thread https://disco3.co.uk/forum/sold-discovery-...47978.html at the bottom of page 1. I'm sure they're documented somewhere on the Gap site too... Laughing

Needs to be BT v4.0 and Android >= 4.3

Looking at the spec here the Avin unit exceeds those. Unless the IID requirements have changed...

Android devices fitted with a Bluetooth V4.0 transceiver and running on Android 4.3 or higher. Low cost generic devices rarely work.

I'm jumping in to follow this. I'm about to do the Android head unit swap.
