Yup. That's about the long and the short of it! To be fair, didnt get too stuck, just kinda grounded out on it. You can pick em up for 3-6K depending if you want one with swim gear or not. They engines are "Multi-Fuel" too ![]() Will have one when I have a big enough drive! ![]() |

My Motorhome has got its front wheels stuck in soft grass a few times and that always requires a tractor being 2 wheel drive! Hard pitches only outside summer months now.....

When shooting, I was following a bunch of cars across a field of wet grass. It was flat and I wasn't paying attention. I drove across a tyre rut at 90deg at about 1mph. No momentum meant that both front wheels ended in the bottom, effectively chocking the car. Road tyres on wet grass meant zero traction to get out. It couldn't have been a more pathetic place to get stuck if I'd tried. The tyre rut was no more than 3" deep. |

Ford Ranger, in a grassed field. Right up to the diff, took ages to get it out, but I would not give in. Installed some pretty impressive 'parallel drainage ditches' in the process. Needed some ballast in the back, but no-one would help. |
