United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Barolo Black
Confused....

My RR is a Vogue build date Jan 2005 with the touchscreen head unit, I've hunted through the forums and am now confused, it's probably an age thing... but I'm reading I can't upgrade the ICE without a massive rip out and overhaul, is this correct? Current:

2005 4.4 V8 FF
Chrysler Crossfire

Previous:

BMW X3
BMW Z4
Saab Aero
Saab Convertiible (lots)
Mazda Rx8 (lots)
BMW 320 msport
Mini Cooper JCW
MG ZT (loved these cars)
and numerous nails from 1985
And bikes, lots and lots of bikes 😊

Yes, you have the MOST system. Very difficult to integrate after market kit . Much easier on the earlier non touchscreen canbus systems. However, search the forums for what people have done... .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Thought as much, looks like I'm stuck with my Bluetooth speaker on the dash then to stream my music through for a while then... 🤔 Current:

Not necessarily. Does your car have either the iPod connector (in the centre cubby) or an aux audio mini-jack?

In which case you can look for a Bovee (or similar) Bluetooth adaptor to integrate your phone with the car. The WMA1000 is the model that interfaces to the iPod connector, not sure which model has the mini-jack out but easy to find out.
